For the most recent giogiandrezza collection of thongs and swimsuits designed by giorgiandreazza, she has worked alongside animator Joe Karava to create a short film to publicise the pieces. The video ‘Farm’ takes the viewer on a journey through a dystopian world that encompasses a strange reality set in the future. The animation takes place in the Venetian hills of Atlanta where we see what could best be described as a huge, eccentric party. We see people dancing from day into night, random farm animals, fish, a hot air ballon, a massive banana, the list goes on. Most noticeably though, Karava has cleverly intertwined oversized statues of models wearing the thongs and swimwear designed by Giorgia into the video. The collection itself made for both men and women, exhibits a 90’s aesthetic that is designed to be worn with either baggy trousers or underneath elegant suits to highlight the characteristics of the lines within the pieces.
