Famed for its innovative approach to upcycling and streetwear reconstructions, Andrea Crews builds these familiar attributes into its latest Autumn Winter collection. These are pieces born of squat raves and urban decay.
Balaclava-clad figures adorned with chains and straps march fiercely down the runway. The looks are bold and diverse, paying tribute to lawless futures and fearless youth. Some pieces are heavily ripped and slashed, whilst others are deconstructed iterations of classic streetwear clothing. Tracksuits, bomber jackets and padded vests abound in the collection, with tartan, digital print and neon adding a blast of cyberpunk.
Andrew Crews’ Autumn Winter 2019 collection continues to turn traditional laws of fashion on its head. It is an homage to counter-culture and the youth who pave the way for rules to be broken.
