With awkward head shots, voluminous hair, and nerdy glasses, the always innovative Camper has released their SS18 campaign and its a blast from the past. Camper manages to take us back to high school with its soft focused and saturated portraits. A collection of retro-futuristic shoes paired with 80’s glam head shots tells a story of the character behind each shoe. From silver hair and sandals to guinea pigs, mullets, and brown trainers, the campaign imagines the eccentric characters behind the shoes through off beat styling and casting. By capturing the awkwardness and futuristic ideals of the 80’s and juxtaposing it with their SS18 collection, Camper really does manage to bring us back to the future.
