Christian dada’s Spring Summer 2019 collection in collaboration with Nobuyoshi Araki ended up Paris Fashion week in a very poetic way. The show was nicely organised and comfortably set up at Le Lycée Concordet, making sure everyone had the best view and right understanding/ feeling, just like a student would.

The nostalgic SS19 collection inspired from the sky, the wind and the light was beautiful made and intentionally colorless — making references to the blissful afterlife. Innocent white silhouettes strolling like ghosts, wearing black and white lifeless printed garments. Using models from different ages, evoking the wistful bright days and the passing of time. The only color that came back a few time is red, symbolizing the tragedy and the lost romance. Designer Masanori Morikawa first paid tribute to his beloved wife — the show came to an emotional end with an angelic melody and models entirely covered with colorful veils like grave clothes. It is with a lot of compassion that we wish her soul to rest in eternal peace!
