Influences from Sergei Parjanov’s film “The colour of Pomegranates” created the warm color palette of marine, red and white together with the whimsical poses and soft volumes. Elements from Erwin Wurm’s “One Minute Sculptures” and his study of using the “shortest path” to create unusual sculptures was translated in the poses between the two models and transformed the photographic direction to a more contemporary aesthetic.
