Dominyka Angelyte created the photo series dubbed Counter Intuitive, the shoot looks to the many levels of social awkwardness through the eyes of the observer. “(the photo series) is inspired by the social awkwardness and a counterintuitive approach to life expressed by the relation between the environment, which may reflect casual yet common randomness, quite odd looks or certain details triggering the reaction”, said the team behind the photo series. The images capture familiar feelings of being out of place and the discomfort of being watched. The series also features graphic design by Kim Alaux, who uses pixelation and glitches as a way to underline the story and its message of awkwardness. These observations of a counterintuitive approach to life become real-life scenarios we as the viewer can connect to, either to memory or empathy.
