Inspired by the surreal and provocative story of Dogtooth by film director Yorgos Lanthimos, Patrizia and Francesco chose to portrait the irregular lines of insanity. By recreating the visual graphics of the clean and neat family garden from the film scene it brings out the contrast between opposite poles - normality and strangeness, obedience and disobedience.
While the mood was influenced by a father trying to keep his children safe from society by excluding them from the real world only to bring them more harm, the editorial is also a demonstration to the uniformity of today's society and what it does to people when they seek to become impossible stereotypes; the outcome may become the opposite.
