Ekaterina Ozhiganova

Film Photographer Ekaterina Ozhiganova likens her photography to language. Her great interest in textures contributes to her photographic works sense of synesthesia and she also expresses her connection to the uncanny-the endless possibilities of outside narratives. Ozhiganova has also worked as a model being able to work on both sides of the lens. Her chilling work evokes a Tarkovsky-like feel.

Born in Sebastopol in 1992 and raised in St. Petersburg, the photographer works and lives in both France and Russia. Her work has been published in VANDALS and has also been displayed in the State Russian Museum. She is currently working on a photobook set to be published soon.
