AIR BAG is a new collective of artists created a few weeks ago in Paris by Juliet Casella and Julia Tarissan. After several collaborations the two artists discovered the importance and the pleasure of team work. They decided to create a collective in which everyone would have their place, bringing together as much discipline as possible. American First Ladies’ Date is one of their first photographic projects that sets the tone for the collective. For this shoot AIRBAG called Emma Taeko Zoia, a self taught, Swiss artist who practices makeup artistically. The goal was to create the classic fashion visual but in a new light, and of course, to create characters with a strong personality. The styling was done by Anna Tarissan, who pulled clothing from young designers from the Parisian school Duperré. The idea, again, is to represent young, emerging artists.
