Meet Israel Yanir, the visionary behind his disruptive brand Hubane, that's taken the world of fashion by storm. In this interview, Israel discusses his creative process and the journey of creating his brand, with inspirations of futurism and self-expression.

Greetings Israel, can you please introduce yourself? Where are you from? How long have you guys been designing clothes?

My name is Israel Yanir. I'm from Atlanta, I'm currently studying marketing at Howard University. I'm an artist and I’ve been designing clothes for six years now.

Can you tell us what are the inspirations behind your design and style?

My inspirations come from details within industrial and big city environments. I aim to create art for the future. My perception of the future is based on futuristic movies/music and my predictions of where I envision the world going. Anime inspires my style a lot.

What is the process like for creating pieces of the brand? How long does it take?

It takes about 1-3 weeks to make a piece depending on what it is. I design all of the pieces by hand.

What is the message that you are trying to send with your Hubane?

I aim to send the message to people that they can use their passion to Positively impact the current and future world.

The Hubane brand has a very contemporary, disruptive, futuristic style. Can you tell us more about the design principles that underpin the brand's visual identity? What is the inspiration behind?

Yes I aim to make pieces that will last for a long time and look better with age. Each piece I create is made with the future world in mind.

What is your approach to marketing and promoting your brand? It has gathered quite a buzz online on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

We pretty much have an organic approach to our marketing. We simply post on social media featuring our piece and it gains traction.

The slogan for the brand is “Redefine reality” and uses the concept “Vernum Dawn” as a core principle of the brand. How do you express this through your designs? And can you explain the state of Vernum Dawn and why it is constantly evolving?

The idea behind Redefining reality is to believe that you can positively impact the world around you and the future you are headed into. Vernim Dawn is the beginning of the continuous realization of one's infinite capabilities.

What's in store for Hubane in the future? Where can we expect to see it?

I plan on making Hubane available in more stores across the world, and continuing to present to the world boundary pushing Art/clothing.
