Interstices
Light and flesh don’t make direct contact, their relationship is always mediated by external forces that often take the form of concrete walls. Through their interstices, the body tries to approach the glow, never reaching its origin. Turning its back to the flesh, light delivers the body’s subordination to the gaze.
