Leo Luchini
Leo Luchini’s “Off The Leash” video is straightforward but powerful. Filmed in Berlin at Trauma Bar und Kino, it’s a stark, physical performance that feels almost exhausting to watch. The camera follows him as he plays all the instruments, drenched in sweat, pushing his body and emotions to their limit.
There’s a raw energy to the video—no flashy effects, just the realness of Luchini fully invested in his music. It’s a perfect match for the song, which deals with frustration, anger, and the need to break free. The industrial setting adds to the feeling of being trapped, while the chains in the video symbolize the pressure to break out of those confines.
Directed by Gone But Not Gone, the slow-motion moments throughout the video add a sense of tension, building to the final release, when the energy explodes. The line “If there’s noises from the trunk, then you know I’m off the leash” hits hard, reflecting the feeling of finally letting go after holding so much inside.
The single marks the beginning of Luchini’s new album, set for release in 2025. There’s a launch event at 8MM Bar, where the video will be shown alongside Luchini’s first live performance with a band.
