Lila Gold
Singer/ song writer, designer, and soon-to-be sensation, Lila Gold, recently debuted her first music video for ‘Big Sad Eyes’. Produced by DJDS and John Hill, and designed/ directed by Natalie Falt, this music video is bound to receive the attention it deserves. The catchy beat and lyrics, accompanied by colourful, futuristic visuals, creates an addictive, dream-like psychedelic experience (without consuming hallucinogens that is).
Although the song is a danceable hit-to-be, the lyrics are a little more glum than what you would expect from such an upbeat song. While Lila sings about her mental health and state of mind, the emotional lyrics do not dim the uplifting and euphoric feeling that this song provides you with. With the dialogue surrounding mental health improving, and shame gradually dissipating, many people will find themselves relating to Lila’s lyrics. Sadness, heartbreak and loneliness are all feelings that we individually experience throughout our lives. What’s most important, is how one deals with those feelings. In this circumstance? Lila’s solution is to play good music, and dance it out. So, by now it is already established that Lila is a talented singer, but she is unsurprisingly much more than that.

Born in Sidney, Australia, and raised in New York, Lila has grown up in a city full of hard working and goal oriented people. She is clearly no exception. As well as a singer, Lila also has her own brand, under the name; Delicate Porcelain. Similar to her ‘Big Sad Eyes’ music video, Delicate Porcelain embodies a sense of psychedelia and euphoria. Colourfully tie dyed garments, warped typography and kitschy childrens' cartoons creates a playful yet wearable collection for all.
