Who are you?
My name is Robert Njoroge, I'm a 23 year old film maker and photographer.
Where are you based?
I am based in Nairobi, Kenya.
What exactly is the Robertography lifestyle? Can you describe the lifestyle to us?
Robertography is a lifestyle because it is a trend I've set a trend. To work three skills simultaneously…film, photography and video editing. Normally creatives are told to major in one skill but hey if you can do it all why not do it all! It’s a fun experience: Exploring a wider aspect of film and a deeper understanding of audio visuals.
What is the first movie you remember watching as a child?
The first movie I remember watching as a child is Men in Black. Will Smith was the only actor I could recognize from voice, without even watching him.
Where do you see yourself at age 100?!
When I am 100 years old, I will be one of the few Africans who will have joined the American Society of Cinematographers. To me that's one of the highest achievement I could bag including the Oscar's.
