What makes a good selfie?
For me, it's an angle you wouldn't typically see people do for a selfie. I like seeing people on Instagram up the angle game. I have a plan to shoot more selfies of myself while doing a backbend.
What are you most excited about at the moment?
It's a tie between two things. I've recently found a positive freedom in how I creatively express myself through music. I used to have severe anxiety about singing and doing music stuff. I've recently gone through a rough patch in a long standing relationship of mine, and I came out feeling very broken and humbled at the same time. I had a good release of energy fuelled by negative emotions, and I've never had that happen to me before. Music is a big piece of me, and it's caused me grief not being able to find a release by doing it for so long, and I've always wanted to do it, so now I feel like I actually have the freedom within myself to finally take it on. It's either that or that I'm seeing Death Grips later this month.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people act out of spite.
Who do you admire most?
I always admire five different people every other week. So I guess at the moment I really just admire people who are willing to take on the creative industry (whether it be music, fashion, film, etc.) with their own wits and unapologetic originality. There's always an expectation of what you should say and do and look like, and I admire people who don't give a shit about that and just go for it.
What is your earliest memory?
Being dropped off on my first day preschool and screaming my head off as my mom drove away. That continued to be the case every time for a month.
