We all have days we just want to zoom out or zoom in - gaining a little more or less, a different perspective. The Ukrainian twins and photographer duo Tanya and Zhenya Posternak have used exactly that approach and created a unique visual language focusing on cropped details and unfiltered beauty: Images, that let us escape from narrow-mindedness into the dreamiest version of reality.

What was your first thought this morning?
T: I made it.
Z: Someone wake me up.

Which colour reflects you?
T: Blue, i guess.
Z: Off white or dark blue.

When do you know you need to zoom in? 
T: When I want something-i-see to be SEEN.
Z: When there's a chance to get closer not taking a single step.

Where would you rather zoom out?
T: In case of architecture.
Z: Passport photos.

The best thing about NYC?
T: Its rhythm, diversity and new chances every day.
Z: The city's everyday magic, the smell of pretzels, and old ladies Uptown on Sunday morning.

The worst thing about NYC?
T: Repetitiveness.
Z: Tips, hover board, starbucks and farting uber drivers.

T: The shoe guy on Delancey street.
Z: Persimmons, Pamela Wool's book, herring from Essex mart, and Joakim's remix of Aming Nebere by Clashing Egos.

T: Persimmon.
