Thoughts on Seapunk
This outfit looks to me like the child of parents who attend burning man. Or a kooky movie character who just got back from a cruise with their family. I’ve seen this color palette and pattern family popping up more in mens streetwear, and wanted to adapt it to a cozy femme look. Chunky platform, kitsch patterns in cozy materials, and the world on your shoulders below!
Rocket Dog shoes are great because of their lightweight sole! I love the iridescent sequin pattern on this pair.
Tie Dye, when applied correctly, can be so chic! Like an animal print it has the ability to exist as a statement and a neutral all at once.
I love Kangols in all shapes and colors, this leopard one is so cute. It’s nice that it can travel between club kid and 90s grunge.
I am so thrilled to have found Body Glove swim on Amazon! They have reissued their 80s neoprene styles and they come in amazing colors and cuts.
These are definitely something a middle school librarian might wear. Also an excellent climate change conversation starter!
