You are based in London right? What is it like living there and where are you from originally?
Yes I live in London it's nice and I've been here for 7 years now but I try to get out during the cold months I'm originally from Lagos Nigeria ~ but born in the United States.

Do you have a day or night job? What would be your dream job?
I'm an àrtīsté and my dream job would be either a spy or a corpse on law and order.

I love the portraits you capture. Who would be your dream person to shoot a portrait of and how do you imagine it?
Thank you so much. Larry David and I Imagine he'd be frolicking in a field of sunflowers or with puppies. He's the best. That sort of photo belongs in the Louvre next to the Mona Lisa.

Do you meditate or do anything outside of photography to zen out?
I really don't but I need to. I'm starting TM (transcendental meditation) soon because of my sleeping issues I'm really hyper all the time.

I see that you've posted from Nigeria and Jamaica - do you spend a lot of time there? Where else do your travels take you?
I'm from Lagos Nigeria and try to go as much as I can. I go every year but haven't been in exactly one year and I'm spending my first Christmas in freezing London. I miss my dog @baby.shrimp. I spent 3 months traveling around Jamaica with my boyfriend it was pretty insane. He's so much fun and the best person in the world to travel with. Now that I'm no longer in Jamaica 🇯🇲 it's the one place I long for. I have many friends there now.

If you were picked to name a nail color after yourself, what would it be called and what color would it be?
Tangerine Dream - it would be lavender with baby pink swirls.

Do you admire any photographers or are you influenced by any artists in particular?
I have so many artists that I love off the top of my head Stu Mead, Lise Sarfati, Kirchner, Thomas Hoepker, Pipilotti Rist, Fumiko Imano, Henry Darger, Simen Johan, Keizo Kitajima, Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, Loretta Lox, Ivar Wigan my wonderful amazing boyfriend, Kerry James Marshall, Emil Nolde, Gauguin (yikes), Brian Kershisnik, Kitra Cahanathe......list goes on...

What are your tattoos and do you have plans to get any more?
I have a little star by my tiddie which I got by these huge sweet angelic Senegalese dudes in a pretty dodge place when I was 16 living in Paris lol. I have a little baby flower on my arm. And a kushy butterfly also on my arm. I kind of want a huge ridiculous piece in a ridiculous place next. And maybe a tramp stamp that says BLINK 182.
