@ebaybae
Tae In Ahn scours eBay and posts her favorite findings on @eBaybae. She is funny and fashionable and finds the darnedest things!
Describe your relationship with eBay. Is it a healthy one?
Yes and no. It's healthy in the way that I have @eBaybae as an outlet to share my "wants" and "needs" without fully committing to purchasing them, but once in a while when something is too good to resist I cave in and get it. I guess it could also be unhealthy how much time I spend searching on eBay and on my phone in general, but I find it a great stress reliever and a coping mechanism for a long commute or avoiding intense and scary parts in movies/shows.
Are you a collector of anything in particular?
I have a collection of brushes, rocks & minerals which are on display at home.
If you had to choose eBay or Instagram which would you choose?
Porque no los dos!
What are your thoughts on Craigslist? (Am I dating myself in asking this?!)
I definitely used in back in the day and it was great browsing for internships, housing, used bikes, furniture, and missed connections for amusement (I'm also dating myself for answering this!). The way that the format just looked like a giant word doc with only hyperlinks added this level of curiosity and anticipation, as well as a lot of tabs on my browser.
Have you ever found stuff so dark or weird that you don't post it?
Yes... I'm hesitant to post especially when I notice how some of the followers look like they are 12!
What is the last thing you bought on eBay? Last thing you sold on eBay?
The last thing I bought on eBay was a neck shoulder Shiatsu massager that was one of the greatest purchases ever and I use it religiously. The last thing I sold was a pair of Marni printed linen shorts.
