Into the woods
In a lost house near Dinant, Belgium they live in peace with nature. Here, time is fluid and almost irrelevant, their lives decided by the sun. Back to basics, their showers come with the rain, their food is from the land. A dog runs around the property, whilst the occupants play with the indoor swing. Their possessions consist of basic materials, their art and their instruments.
Styled by Gina Berenguer and shot by Nick Van Tiem this; editorial pulls together a strong narrative; positioned, styled and shot in a beautiful landscape, reminiscent of long forgotten folklore. Here, as with all fairytales, the questions remain unanswered, their meaning obscured. The outsider is drawn in and enchanted by the mystic, forgetting their apprehension.
