Dec 21 Goat Mountain

This stark photo series from Aliyavuz Ata, styled dynamically by Emrecan Sandal depicts the story of Goat: Goat lives in the mountains, she exists in a whirlwind of colour and fire; her protection from world and the people who have hurt her. Goat’s only company is the demon inside of her, a god she worships unquestioningly. Broken in faith, she feels completely alone, as if she is the only one creature of her kind in this world.

Because people do not understand Goat, the way she acts, how she walks, they are terrified of her, leaving her isolated and hurt. An outsider. Now, Goat is calling on the demon inside of her not to be alone anymore. She is looking for partners like herself, those who can understand, articulate and emphasise her own feelings.
