Kasei Archive SS25
Kasei Archive was born under the sign of Mars, the ancient ruler of fire. Vitality, courage and ardor are the guidelines of a project that expresses its own burning vision by fusing fashion and music, in search of a common language between sound and sartorial avant-gardes.
The purpose of Kasei Archive is to connect established and emerging artists, forging with the fire of its passion a bold new aesthetic through albums, collections and events where they will celebrate the power of creativity. Founded by Lintang Dewantari and Marco Chirico, Kasei Archive is the interpretation and translation of the artistic and musical background ofthe two.
Lintang has a background as a designer and fashion stylist built between Florence and Tokyo, while Marco is a musician who has made experimental music his passion andsource of creativity.
On September 19, Kasei Archive presented its SS25 collection for the first time in Milan, at BIOF Blue Institute of Futures. Guests had the opportunity to preview the new collection through an installation visible throughout the evening, accompanied by a series of experimental live musical performances and DJ sets. For the Spring/Summer 2025
Collection, Kasei Archive highlighted the women's collection with silhouettes fitted to the body, total looks in denim treated with lamitex glazed effect and leather garments. In addition, short outerwear such as blazers and bomber jackets paired with mermaid skirts or high-waisted pants were the stars of the season. A new embroidered pattern, inspired by the world of calligraphy, was introduced on various garments such as t-shirts, bowling shirts and sweatshirts.
To best introduce the universe of Kasei Archive, co-founders Marco Chirico and Leen Dewantari also presented their musical project Jejak Akar, which includes musique concrète, sound experimentation and sounds from Indonesia. In addition, two guests from Argentina took the stage: Qoa with an extended listening experience based on field recordings, spoken word, live sampling, drones, synthesis and frequency rhythms, and Primeiroche explores thedynamic relationship between sound and territories, mixing experimental electronics with sampling of acoustic instruments and environmental recordings.
The evening also featured a series of DJ sets: Arturo Camerlengo, originally from Benevento, opened the event with hishybrid DJ set, which mixes sampling, synthesis and ethereal atmospheres with a melancholic sound. Akiko closed the evening with an ethno-cosmic DJ set, containing testimonies and field recordings of global customs and traditions.
