Which country are you from?
I'm from America! I was born in Connecticut, & my ethnic background is French and Jewish.
Do you prefer selfies or other people taking photos of you?
I think on a day to day basis I enjoy selfies because I love having complete control of how a photo looks/turns out, but when I'm in work mode I definitely enjoy people taking pictures of me more.
What was the best day of your life?
Thats a hard one, I think I've had a lot of days where I reflect back and think that it was the best, but the most recent best day I've had was probably when I had my first shoot when I was 14 by my friends Mayan and Julia from Me and You with my sister Ali and my friend Sofy. It was a very calming day even though I entered it completely overwhelmed with nervousness. I remember it was beautiful weather out and we went to a little Airbnb in Long Island City. I had never done anything like it before and was definitely surprised at how natural it felt. I had bonded with everyone so much over the course of the day and felt such genuine real female friendship while creating something beautiful together, and as a whole it felt like a wonderful day.
What is your best childhood memory?
Since I was a toddler my parents have been taking my sister and I to New Mexico a couple times a year, it's always been like a home away from home, and we usually spent a lot of time in a small town called Taos. Taos is desert mostly underneath the mountains, but has these huge canyons with mineral hot springs lined along them. My parents used to take my sister and I on these hikes down on the side of the canyons and we'd sit in the natural hot springs while it snowed around us. If I could think of a best childhood memory that'd probably be it.
Is social media a positive aspect of modern life?
Personally, social media is definitely a positive aspect in my life. I'm a very introverted socially anxious person so it helps me find like-minded friends through the internet that i share interests with. People can definitely use it as a weapon and a means to harm someone or their space and mindset, but it all depends on how you use the platforms you're given.
Which social media tool do you use the most?
I definitely use Instagram the most. Most all other platforms I've either drifted away from or never had. I use snapchat a bit but mostly just for a couple people.
Who is your best friend?
I'm lucky to have a lot of friends and good people that I surround myself with and although I'm drawn to some more than others and over time people fall out of my life, my best friend Julia has been my #1 since we were about 12. We met at our childhood sleep away camp and have been crazy inseparable since. She probably gets me like no other & it's such a necessity to have someone you can tell everything to. My sister, Julia and I are a super close group.
