Where are you from?
I am from Italy. I live in Italy and before that, in the USA .
What kind of person wears your brand?
I want sexy girls and cool country boys to wear For The Memory Of A Lifetime.
Tell us about the name of your label, For the Memory Of A Lifetime. It is a long name!
It is a long name, but I like it for this reason. In regards to the meaning of it, I want to communicate a state of mind…an emotion that the buyers will understand. I hope, one day, people buy it for the message or at the very least, the good quality of my product.
Are you items hand made in Italy (like your fake crocodile boots). How "hands on" are you personally as the designer?
Everything is, for now, made in Italy and largely by hand. Yes, I am personally involved in the process- from the initial design to the final product!
Who stocks your collection?
Yes, for now we are in some stores like Opening Ceremony in NYC and LA as well as Tokyo. It is premature for me to have too many stores at this point - we need to improve everything. It is good, though, if someone believes in us already…testing our product is helpful and especially with clients like OC.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes, our showroom is Tomorrow London . It’s our first season, but they asked to work together and why not?! So we were out in paris for the first time this last fashion week!
What’s next for the label?
For next season, I am working on a bigger collection of clothes and shoes. I hope I will be more happy with the result :) i am trying to get ready for January in the showroom! I hope you will like the collection next season!
