Katherine Rose saw The Sims as an exceptional parallel to the way we have started to simulate our daily activities through technology during these past months particularly. Everything from work, school, shopping, and even piano lessons have been able to be replicated online. “Pray for your Sims” showcases the array of skills Katherine has been able to teach herself living life at a slower pace. With restrictions and minimal resources available, Katherine taught herself photoshop, makeup techniques, sewing, making fake textured nails, as well as crafting a pair of sneakers, which were featured in the shoot. During a time when many equate production value to quality, projects like “Pray for you Sims” act as a reminder that everything you need to create is innate.
