It’s important to me that all costume purchases have a life that can be lived beyond the night of. Many of these pieces I would generally include in my selections anyways, and when arranged with the proper accessories they are complete!
“Jonah Hill”
JONAH HILL: Sleazecore, soft-core streetwear, whatever you want to call it. I am here for Jonah Hill and his new aesthetic! I especially loved the vintage Suns jersey tucked into chinos, so here you go!
“Spring Breakers”
SPRING BREAKERS: Though many don’t like this film, I love the visuals and soundtrack. It might be a little early to back trend on this oversaturated concept BUT any excuse to wear a metallic bikini top is a win for me.
“Brett Michaels”
BRETT MICHAELS: I LOVE Rock of Love. Hair metal in its prime will always be one of my favorite beauty looks, and I feel is often an overlooked gender bending moment in rock history. A wig, statement hat, and bandana are all that is required to bring this look to life.
“Closer”
CLOSER: I have never seen this movie but that is also why I think it’s a funny costume. Seriously who has! I had to google “Natalie Portman pink wig” to find out the film is called Closer. This top is a pretty solid match to what she wears and is a fun idea if you’re a lingerie at night kinda girl.
