There are very few ways to break a body and all of them require a suspension of acquired habits. If walking, eating or pouring a drink were made impossible, the rupture could be considered successful. And, as capitalist regimes have abundantly demonstrated, success is contagious, it keeps expanding (at the expense of who is a question for another day). It just needs a medium, be it the soil, bodies or wires.
