Geerten Verheus’ sculptural installations, collages and paintings mostly function not through any narrative content, but through rather intuitive associations to the unorthodox materials he uses and the interrelations he creates between them.
The semantics of materials used and references to more or less familiar shapes and objects aim to result in partly ironic, partly unnerving specific objects. Geerten Verheus lives and works in Berlin
